Here’s a link to oral arguments made before the U.S. Supreme Court on January 22 of this year.  The case is Espinoza v. Montana Dept. of Revenue, docket number 18-1195.

The case involves a Montana law which allowed small tax credits to be used to fund private scholarships, which could be used at any school, religious or secular. A trial court upheld the law and parental liberty. But then the Montana Supreme Court struck down the entire law, eliminating all such scholarship programs. The goal was to prohibit the indirect funding of some religious schools through tax credits. The complete elimination of the program struck a blow against schooling liberty and choice.

A ruling will likely come this summer. Praying for liberty!
