State Senator Kim Thatcher, R-Keizer, is a great friend of liberty, and would make an excellent Secretary of State. This is a very important position, both for its role in redistricting and because it is first in line of succession should the Governor fail to fill out her term. (We don’t know Gov. Brown’s preferred pronouns.)

Thatcher is the first Republican to enter the race. The filing deadline is March 10 and the primary is May 19.
